And here's just a few more shots of different angles of the restored playfield. You will be able to spot some vast differences from my original playfield photo's. Take note of the colour that has come out of the playfield after using Novus polishes on it, especially note the Bonus area that is no longer yellow! Also note the now flat PF plastics from using my flattening methods and you also get a good look at the Blue Flash Insert that is now nice and flat in the 2nd photo after I removed, flattened and glued it back into place. Take careful note of the little things like the new acorn nuts and using new screws in your playfield and notice the difference they make for an outlay of about $3.00 !! And by the way I have re-installed the missing orange insert from the Shoot Again area in the last shot. Once again I hope you may have picked up a tip or two along the way and don't forget to email me if you have any questions or need further clarification that what I have listed on my site.
You can see how the Blue Flash Insert is now dead flat and re-glued into the playfield, I used a hairdryer to heat the insert from underneath to remove it , I flattened it in the oven using the same methods I use to flatten PF plastics and I glued it back in using Araldite.
All Playfield plastics are now dead flat.
There's just a general overall better look to the tired old Flash playfield that I got 6 months ago.
You can see the black is a LOT deeper than it used to be and the brightness of the colours are back. Dont forget to check out my Flash machine images of the whole machine completely finished by clicking here
