Even though the cabinet on this game was a disaster when I bought it, the playfield was pretty good apart from a few 'common' things found on Fish Tales and some things I just wanted to fix up.

Own a Fish Tales? - Then you probably have this issue as 99% of them apparently do.

I bought some replacement decals from Curly at The Little Shop of Games and now my Stringers look like this.

Another common wear area on any Fish Tales is the Tackle Box....heres mine originally.

Note the green can on the left, the wear in the centre and around the lure on the right.

I re-touched this are by painting it

Not a big deal to some people , but an issue for me was the outlane rollovers, they were worn away like in this next image.

Old-Rollover

I took the easy way out and bought some decals - again from Curly - and I reckon they do a fantastic job.

New-Rollover

The 2 plastic guards on the top of the Boat Ramp were very yellowed and I wanted to replace them so I used 2mm perspex and cut some new ones  - below are some comparison shots.

Look close in the first shot and you will see my 2 newly cut plastics and get a good idea of the 'colour' comparison between the old and the new.

Here's the old plastics still on the ramp.
