I decided to show some images of the old High School at Heathcote in Sydney NSW after I took a walk through the place in late 2004 with my young son. I had not been back to the school since I left in 1981 and I found it to be a rewarding experience that brought back a STACK of memories as we walked around. It made me think of others who also may not have been back but wanted to see what it was like these days, so I decided to throw a few images on this page for anyone that stumbles across my web site.
This is the entrance from Wilson Parade, this was one of the better spots to sneak out at lunchtime !
The Bottom Oval -Many a great fist fight happened on this piece of turf !
This is the front of the hall ( A Block ) where all the tough guy's used to hang out ( lol ) - OK who didn't get busted smoking here !
The Caves !! - EVERYONE got busted who took a smoke down here!
The Main Quadrangle - If you ever got hit by a piece of fruit flying over from the front of A block it was probably me- sorry !
Looking back at the basketball courts from the stairs leading up to D Block - sounds very much like a prison doesn't it !
I hope that you have enjoyed seeing some images of Heathcote High School.. If you do chance across this site and did go to this school , email me and let me know what you think. Dont forget , you can catch up with old schoolmates at www.schoolfriends.com.au Have Fun Wotto
