If you saw my Mountain repair page you would have seen that I was missing a sign for the Boulder Garden mountain. This page will be short and brief and just show you the way in which I created a new sign - it was relatively easy.
I put the word out on the net for a nice large photo of the Boulder Garden sign and once again a friendly pinhead came through for me and sent me the first image that you see below I go I then opened that image in Photoshop and traced/ re-drew it so that I could print it out. Here is my redraw. Notice in the top image the original sign was riveted to the plastic mountain, I don't have rivet guns and materials so I was going to use a small nut and bolt with a spring washer to keep it all tight in order to secure my sign to my mountain. I grabbed a small sheet of 2mm clear perspex and cut it to shape with a jigsaw and a fine cutting blade on a high speed. I then printed the decal on a thin but high quality photo paper and using a strong spray glue I stuck it to the perspex. Finally I stuck mylar over the front face to protect it and below is the sign on the mountain
Here is a close up of it finished and installed on the playfield Of course you can see how this whole area now looks in the overall playfield at my playfield teardown pages.
