Without ANY doubt this game has the BEST ramps of any pinball machine of all time.

However - there is a shitload of them and to re-install them can be a bit of a jigsaw puzzle - even if you kept reference photo's.

As previously mentioned the No Way Out entry is where the LITE / LOCK stand up targets reside, these cop a beating in any game played on WH20 and therefore the ramp entry behind them often snap.

Here is a nice close up of the Cliffy's protectors installed.

For around $50 Aussie I highly recommend buying and installing these parts. As they will protect 2 ramps , EACH ramp costing around $125++ to replace.

Another 'saftey' thing I did on this WH20 was to use small nuts & bolts & washers where ramps joined each other OR wherever a switch screwed into a ramp. Normally these games use self tapping screws and I believe over time that would cause splits and splinters in the ramps forcing them to break like they have in the past.

Here's what I mean - this is a very close up example of the switch that sits on the entry of the Insanity Falls ramp on the top playfield. There is also a small spring washer between the nut and plastic ramp so that these remain tight.

And I also used 2 of these in this location where the 'upper to lower ramp' joins up with the ramp exiting Bigfoots Cave.

Once again I state that for the sake of about $5.00 you can help preserve ramps that are worth over $125 each.

One of the ramps I did buy a replacement for was the Whirlpool ramp, this ramp sees a LOT of ball in a game on WH20  - here is a comparison shot of my old and new ramps before installation.

These new ramps are beautiful and clear and ROCK solid , I purchased them in Australia from Greg at RTBB where I also purchased my Funhouse ramps.

Before I show the ramp installed here is the actual Whirlpool section of the playfield now all cleaned up.

Same section now with the new ramp over the top of it - do you recall what this looked like before?

And finally - an overhead of the new ramp in place
